Another custom snare project from Rocco Z Music. This 14in Yamaha snare drum came to the shop in spring of 2020 with a standard white wrap and beat up hardware. Not only did this drum look very plain and boring but it screaming to be refinished! One the first things we did was to take the drum apart and clean off the shell. After the drum was prepped, we began putting on the the big red wrap. Once the drum wrap was applied, we then took the old hardware and powder coated all of the hardware a matte black to give a nice addition to the wrap. After powder coating was finished, we assembled the drum back together and finished off the wrap with the one of a kind Yamaha decal on the front. This drum turned out beautiful and found it’s new home right here in McHenry!
