Here is a custom snare rebuild project for one of our good friends, Josh Vezina! The origin of this drum dates back to 2000 when they were a part of the Great Lake Percussion section with Jim and Will Gordillo. Then in 2004, they were sold to Victor J Andrew’s high school marching band. Sometime after 2007, Josh received this drum and brought it to the shop! Here was our process for this project: First we took the drum apart and filled the 3in holes. Next, we removed the wrap and applied a new wrap to help give the drum a new look. After the wrap and air vents were installed we sandblasted the hardware and polished the metal to get a nice clean chrome-looking finish. Once the hardware was ready, we reassembled the drum with new heads. Now we have a newly refinished drum rebuild! Thank you to Josh Vezina for having us take care of your snare drum rebuild project!
