Single Tenor Flub Project for Zion-Benton Township high school; project was finished in July 2021! We took these 1980’s Pearl tenor drums and brought them back to life! First we took the bigger drum and cut it down to match the size of the other Tom. Next, removing the wrap and staining the drums with a nice transparent black stain. Once the stain was dry, we added 10 layers of clear coat with LOTS of buffing in between. Once the drums shells were finished, we added the final touches of adding new trim, clean hardware, and the pearl logo! Now these drums are SHINING and ready for their new home! Thank you again to Shan Kazmi and the Zion-Benton Township band for having us take on your project!
